Witch's Boiling Pot

Hello dears,

In this Witch's Boiling Pot (aka my brains) there's boiling an nice stew of ideas, shame, there's no time for the ideas, nor money. Actually, forget about the time, it's all about the money. I am working a lot, thus earning though.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you guys that I'll take a break from blogging, because there is not much to blog about. I'll return somewhere in August with a lot of stories for you to read, I hope you are looking forward to it :)

Hold your breath!

Hello lovelies,

Today I finally started on the patterns I need for my underbust corset, that certaintly did take a long time, right? I'm so glad I started, it was about time. Right now, I cut out my patterns in a scrap fabric, tommorow I'll sew them together to see if the patterns I've drawn were right, I mean, you never know! If they turn out right, I'll make another sample for fitting, and after that I'll make the real one. I hope it turns out to be less work than I think it will be...

Although I am a quite experienced seamstress, making a corset was something totally different, especially this pattern. I have got a patten which I could've used as well, but it wouldn't work for my body, I wouldn't be able to create the dramatic curves I want. I have a naturally curvy body, so drafting the patterns was a challenge, because I need a corset that leaves my bone-y hips alone and cinches my waist more, to create a wasp-waist instead of my usual hourglass figure.

Hello dears,

I am very pleased to anounce that I have graduated, and I will be going to the art academy in September! I'm so happy and relieved! I'm going to have a grande party to celebrate it.

I am also very pleased to anounce that my horse is a true supermodel! Every picture we took with her was stunning... Well, okay, almost every picture, there were derp-pictures, and stunning pictures, and nothing inbetween. Why taking pictures of my horse? Well, I had a Legend of Zelda photoshoot, so Janneke's name was changed into Epona for one evening. Here are some of the results;

Mad Teaparty

Hello dears,

How are you all doing? I haven't updated for so long! I have lived quite a boring life for a while, and I don't want to bother you lovelies with dull and useless blog-updates, so I decided to wait for a while.

This week was a truly awesome week! I had TWO Teaparties, one as a promotion model, and the other one with the lolita-community. Both were a lot of fun and I've had a truly splendid time!

The first Teaparty, last Thursday, was in the middle of a big city, we were promoting some sort of Fashion Week which was coming up there. We were seated in super-high chairs at a super-high table, so it was a real high-tea. It was really hot that day, so I decided to take a risk and I did not wear socks, panties or anything like that, I just can't handle heat well, if I get too warm I get a rash all over my body. In my opinion it looked fine, and for the other lolita's; Don't get your bloomers in a bunch about it, I still wore my bloomers ;-) Here are some pics;

And here are the pictures, or well, I don't have them all, here's an outfit shot of what I wore to the other teaparty. I am in love with my floral dress, and all the lolita's complimented me on it, I was so flattered.

Also, Thursday I get to hear wether I have passed my exams or not. If I passed, I can officially call myself an Art Academy student, and I finally, after six years, leave my dull secondary schoollife behind me.

Welcome to my life

Hello dears,

Welcome to my life, where the finals are over and I pray that I'll get the positive message I don't have to come back to high school. Which I'll hopefully receive in about three weeks.

Meanwhile, I just returned from a fashion show, but it was nothing special, just some goodwill for my school, that's all really. It wasn't even busy. I had a good laugh with my Rainbowbro, so it wasn't that dull, but still kind of pissed because it is a lot of work to get my stuff up there, and when you step on the stage (not even catwalk) you see a half-empty hall. Not the scenario I wanted it to be. Anyhow, I'll be presenting my collection the 2nd of June again at a much bigger event, so let's pray for more people.

Oh! The 9th of June, I have a lolita teaparty, with the theme "Victorian Romance" I'm going to make a straw bonnet and a bustle for underneath my blue floral dress so it has more of an 1880's silhouette. I'm also going to buy fabrics for my male design for my collection and for my costume for Castlefest! I finally have time on my hands so I can finally get busy!

Witchcraft!

Wow, Chaotic Witch, what's with you updating so irregular?!

Well, my dears, this old hag is really busy passing her exams, if she doesn't pass, she won't be able to go to the Art Academy. Her life is at stake here.

Not only that, but meanwhile, she has been really busy with... Well, Witchcraft. And I'm not going to tell all about it yet, but I'm sure the goth-readers will like it a lot...

That's the wee update for now, back to my spell books and wiccan prayers to see if I can graduate!

It's always Adventure Time!

Hello lovelies,

I am só sorry I haven't updated in like, two weeks? I went on an unexpected journey (read; vacation) and no internet there.... I'm glad I was able to relax though before my Finals (which I am horribily going to screw up).

So, it's Adventure Time, I've finally started drawing out my patterns for the corset, and in a not-too-distant-future I'll will buy my fabrics.

.... So, Chaotic Witch, what are you going to make? Well, I am going to make something what you can call "Pastel Goth". I know, I know, you'll probably think like; "Oh god, not another so-called "Soft-grunge" girl" Don't worry, It'll be Pastel Goth. I like challenges, and I think this certaintly will be one. Have faith!

My friends are all really curious, and so am I. Well, I have to hold my reputation high, can't screw up on this one... Can't wait to start though!
